| Jamie Joseph had an early interest in the lapidary arts. As a child, her Barbie doll case housed a collection of pretty pebbles rather than frilly doll frocks. It was her affinity for unusual rocks that led her to take a jewelry class while in college. Upon graduation, Jamie Joseph Jewelry Designs was founded. Jamie hand-selects and hand-facets each stone. Color, balanced asymmetry, movement and fine metal work are focal points in her design process. Jamie Joseph is represented in New Orleans exclusively at Katy Beh Contemporary Jewelry. |
